As part of a new exciting era for Drumoig Golf Hotel and Golf Course we are creating a new feature that we hope you will find interesting and informative. It will keep you up to date with all the new developments and improvements to the hotel and golf course and will bring interesting snippets of what’s been happening. We call it Drumoig News.

The Hotel - Under New Management

Drumoig Golf Hotel and Drumoig Golf Course are now under the same ownership with a dedicated team geared to make the Drumoig experience a memorable one. There is no doubt that the same team dealing with golf operations and the hotel operations will benefit the end user – already the impact is being noticed with much positive feedback coming from golfers and visitors.

Drumoig Golf Course

Since taking over the operation of the Drumoig Golf Course we have made great strides in improving the golf course and are pleased at the results to date. It doesn’t stop there and during the winter of 2009/10 we have reshaped a number of holes, created a few new bunkers and tackled surrounding shrubbery. Despite it being one of the worst winters the UK has experienced, Drumoig Golf Course has been playable for much of the time. It has been a pleasure to welcome so many visitors from other Golf Courses who have been less fortunate in getting their "golf fix" from their own clubs due to the bad weather. Naturally we wish them well for the golfing season ahead and look forward to them making a return visit to Drumoig in the near future.

One of the major changes to the course has been the reshaping of the Par 5 Third hole – Cowbackie. Your drive will take you away from the houses that border the fairway with the landing area newly created making for a dogleg hole to the green. New bunkers are strategically placed to test even the longest hitters but it is still possible to just make that short cut to the green. Why not challenge yourself – fortune favours the brave!! Drumoig Golf Hotel

The hotel is now up and running after a series of internal refurbishments. The place is looking so much better and more inviting than before. It’s not just a lick of paint, no we have looked at the whole of the internals of the hotel, lodges and facilities and have made a number of changes, with more to come. We urge you to come and see and feel the changes, it’s much more intimate and welcoming – why not try us out soon.

We have introduced a new menu; one better geared to the wants and needs of golfers and visitors. We have introduced play and eat packages, golfing break packages and much more. We are always looking at new ways to meet customers’ needs and in the coming months we will be seeking your feedback to allow us to further develop our customer experience.

To help ensure that we do cater for your needs we will require your help. Throughout the year we will be asking for your feedback about your experiences at Drumoig Golf Hotel.
